Access/Outlook

I'm trying to use Outlook's contact list to populate my employee database
table in Access. I was wondering if there was any way to link my Employee
table with Outlooks contracts similar to what I have done with Excel. Most
of my employee's information are contacted on my Outlook contact cards and
instead of duplicating this infomation I would like to link to it. This way
when ever a new employee comes into my deparment all I have to do is have
them fill out a OUtlook contact and then it would automatically be enter into
my employee database, instead of having to do it twice. If I can't link
Access to Outlook can I make Outlook use my database for my its contact
information.

in your tables tab, select new, then link,

then lower down on the link window where is says "Files of Type"
select either "Exchange()" or Outlook.

Exchange might be the better.

I believe the Outlook will get the contact list on YOUR computer.

Select the Contacts that contain what you are looking for.

I have the feeling that speed may be the issue, whenever you use the
link.

But that is the starting point.

Good Luck.
