Not sure I understand your question. Please define "use".
If this is a license question, separate companies must have separate license
to use the Access product.
There is an option where you can buy the developer's edition (it's called
something else, I'm not up on the terminology). This edition allows you to
develop an Access application, distribute it with the Access runtime to as
many separate companies as you wish.
You need to read the license agreement that came with Access. It will
tell you what you are allowed to do. At most you would likely only be
allowed to use it on two machines, like your desktop and your laptop, never
at the same time and you could not use it on two desktops or share with a
co-worker.
If you write a database and want to share the tables between multiple
companies, all you need to do is add a field that identifies the main table
records so that you know which company they belong to.
