Access not seeing named ranges in Excel

Hello,

I'm trying to import data from an Excel spreadsheet into an Access table.
The spreadsheet's data isn't tabular/columnar, so I named ranges in the
spreadsheet that contains the data.

I try to Get External Data in Access, select the spreadsheet, change the
first value from "Show worksheets" to "Show Named Ranges" - nothing shows up.
I checked to make sure the names are still referencing the cells I need, but
it's as if the spreadsheet has no named ranges at all. Let me know if I
should ask this in the Excel forum, but I just wondered why Access can't see
the named ranges.

Thanks!

Nope, no errors, no messages. When I switch the import wizard from
Worksheets to Named Ranges, just empty white space. Very puzzling.

Are these ordinary ranges of contiguous cells? Non-contiguous and
dynamic ranges won't show up.
