Access mail merge to Word doc based on contact type?

G' Day. Is it possible to merge Access fields into a Word doc based on the
Contact Type in the Access database? I'd like to merge only fields from a
specific contact type to avoid multiple Access databases. Using Access and
Word 2000 - upgrading soon. Newbie, and my macro abilities are minimal.

Hi Cole,

This should be fairly easy to do. Use your contact type field as a criteria
in a query. You do not need to show this field in the output. Then base your
merge on the query instead of on a table.
