Access, MACs and Virtual PC

Has anyone had any experience with running an Access database app on a MAC
using Virtual PC (Backend shared on the MAC network somewhere)?

I take it that is isn't as simple as it pretends to be......?! Any advice,
things to note, warnings of pitfalls etc gratefully received !!!

Not on the Mac, no, but I do use Virtual PC to run different versions of
Access under different versions of Windows on one PC. It works well and
performance is OK. Setting it up initially is quite a chore, though. While I
do find performance OK when running Access under Virtual PC, I find the
initial installation of the OS very slow indeed.

The spammers and script-kiddies have succeeded in making it impossible for
me to use a real e-mail address in public newsgroups. E-mail replies to
this post will be deleted without being read. Any e-mail claiming to be
from brenreyn at indigo dot ie that is not digitally signed by me with a
GlobalSign digital certificate is a forgery and should be deleted without
being read. Follow-up questions should in general be posted to the
newsgroup, but if you have a good reason to send me e-mail, you'll find
a useable e-mail address at the URL above.

I've done work with Access in VPCs and can't think of any particular
reason why this would be a problem As far as the MAC part of it goes
I can't comment.
