I designed macros on my home computer which has access 2007 but I saved it in
2003 format. My work computers run Access 2002/2003. Some of the macros that
I have designed dont work on the work computer. Why is this happening and how
can I solve the problem. The IT department at work dont know why is this
happening.
Many thanks for your help.

Hatemma,

Is it possible that you have used some actions or other macro features
which are exclusive to Access 2007? Can you give the details of the
macros that are causing problems?

These are simple macros such as refresh, open form. When I press on the
command button linked to these macros, nothing happens.I dont get error
messages.
Many thanks

Hatemma,

Have you userd "Embedded macros"? I.e. distinct from creating and
saving a macro as a separate database object in the database design
window, and then assigning this macro by entering the name of the macro
in the event property. For example, in Access 2007, if you look at the
On CLick event property of the command button, what do you see?

There are very big differences in the functionality of macros between
Access 2007 and prior versions. In general, I would strongly recommend
against developing in Access 2007 for applications that will be used in
earlier versions of Access.
