Access Limitations and Importing Excel Files

Hello,
I was wondering if somebody could tell me what are the limitations of Access
in terms of how many records you can have in one database, I will be looking
at approx 250, 000 records?

2. Is it possible to import / merge 250 excel files into one access database
/ table, or would I need to have 250 seperate tables? The tables will all
have the same information fields.

Any help is gratefully appreciated!

1. There is no official limit on the number of Records in Tables. There is
a size limit of 2 GB for the database file (1 GB for A97).

Type in Access Help Index "Specifications" for other limits.

2. Think of entity in your database. If all Records are of the same entity
(and it sounds like they are), they should be in the same Table.
