Thank you for your answer...
Actually i don't need to change the shortcut icon neither the icon that's
displayed on the upper-left side,i need to change Access program icon itself
without having to crete shortcuts,i don't want users to know which program
wasa used to create my database...is it possible ?

You don't mention what version of access.

in the tools->startup, there is a box to set the application icon name.
Also, in 2002 and later, you see right below that box a check box to use the
same icon for forms and reports.

So, as a general rule, you should provide a shortcut for your applications
(I think in the last 10, or more years, virtually EVERY application I used
provided a short either on the desktop, and also in the start menu. I would
assume since every other application on the planet provides a shortcut,
should you not be doing the same?

So, keep in mind, that you can set the icon for your shortcut, but you
looking to change the icon that shows when you hold down alt-tab to cycle
through the applications (or simply look at the task bar at the bottom, and
click to maximize a running applications), then you use the tools->startup
setting....

Also, note while the application loads, you will actually see the MS access
application icon during that time (we're talking about the icon that you see
in the upper left corner). Once the application is finished loading, then of
course the icon specified in the startup options will display. However, you
can avoid any showing, and any display of the access icon by using the
/runtime switch in your startup shortcut. Of course if you're going to use
the runtime switch, then it's assumed that you've designed a custom
interface, and of hidden MS access interface in the first place.

You most certainly can, and should hide all of the ms-access interface. The
options to complete hide and keep people out of the ms-access interface can
easily be done using the tools->start-up options. Using those options allows
you to complete hide the ms-access interface (tool bars, database window
etc). Also, using these options means you
do not have to bother setting up security.

Try downloading and running the 3rd example at my following web site that
shows a hidden ms-access interface, and NO CODE is required to do
this....but just some settings in the start-up.

Check out:

After you try the application, you can exit, and then re-load the
application, but hold down the shift key to by-pass the start-up options. If
want, you can even disable the shift key by pass. I have a sample mdb file
that will let you "set" the shift key bypass on any application you want.

Those that are not idiots will know anyway and who cares what the idiots think?
