Access Form and Starting with a number.

Hello,

I was trying to create a new data base for our clerical team to use for
scheduling. The issue is, they use confirmation numbers and those can not be
duplicated (which I wanted to use as a primary key anyways). The issue is, I
want to start the first record as B7301 then on the next record it would be
B7302, then B7303 etc etc. Can anyone help me out on this? I was also
thinking, if we can not do it with the B, I can just put the B in the report
that prints out but I would still need to auto count starting with 7301.

I think this sample, available at Roger's Access Library, has what you need.
I'd just go with the Form 2 method, for multiuser:
