Access Denied!

Have recently installed my 'old' C Drive into my new PC, expecting to be able
to transfer data files using explorer.

Whenever, I try and copy data files across I get 'Access Denied' even though
I am logged on as administrator. I have tried re-booting from the old C drive
so I can remove Password protection but is says a file is missing. Does
anyone know how I can open these files?
