access denied.

I have installed 'Windows XP: Home Edition' in my
computer again, to fix some troubles.
However, I remembered that i had some important documents
in my old user account.
When I tried to go into it, somehow, the message "access
denied" popped up and could not go into it.
I already have replaced the old Windows XP configuration,
so I can not exercise my administrator power.
Is there anyway to access to the old folder.
If you would please, tell me the way to get the documet.
