Access Denied when using a .bat file

I have a .bat file setup to use xcopy to copy some files from my hard drive
to a CD. i has been working for the better part of a year. Recently when I
try to run it, using a shortcut, I get a message the says 'Access Denied'
when it trys to copy the first file. If I manually copy it to the CD it
works but won't work with the .bat file.

I am running Windows XP Pro, sp3.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Create a new .bat file and enter a few of the
copy commands and test it.

Does the new .bat file work?
