access denied issue

I have two domains one a NT4 domain and the other a
windows 2000 domain (Mixed Mode). I created a trust
between the two domains. Users on the network login to
the NT4 domain. On one of my 2000 DC i created a share
and removed the everyone group and only added a user from
the NT4 domain. The problem is that when i map a drive to
that folder and the user tries to access it, it says
access denied. Any suggestions.

You might try adding that user to the "access this computer from the network" user
right assignment for the Domain Controller Security Policy. --- Steve

I think this is a SP4 issue cause i have another DC that
is on SP3 and that has no issues. I tried what you said
but that didnt work.

Interesting. I would compare the Local Security Policy security options between to
two computers [SP3 and SP4] to see if there are any differences that may be causing
the problem. I am not sure if anything was changed in the default setting for
P4. --- Steve
