Access Date formatting

Hi ive got a form with a date field and the format is
mm/dd/yy, this works fine for 90% of users however, a
couple of users when they enter a date it formats as
dd/mm/yy, why is this happening?

any help gratefully appreciated

Dates entered into the interface in Access (e.g. text boxes on a form, or in
the query design window) are interpreted according to the users date
settings in the Windows Control Panel.

Open Control Panel. Go to Regional Settings, and correct the Short Date
setting.
