Here are a couple of Access applications that I've created in the past:
1.) A database for the Merceyside Police Dept. in the UK for tracking
volunteers time and expenses. It includes the Neighbourhood, Area (Wirral,
Sefton, Knowsley, etc.) and Station that each volunteer is assigned to, and
tracks various attributes such as number of arrests made, hours volunteered
per month, and expenses for subsistance, travel, boot (whatever that is), and
other.
2.) A database for Team Transplant, a non-profit group that is sponsored by
the University of Washington Medical Center, in Seattle, WA. This group was
created to help promote the health of transplant patients, by encouraging
them to exercise (specifically, they train for a few marathons each year).
The database tracks member attributes such as name, address, category (type
of transplant, or if Friend/Family member), emergency contact information,
team apparrel ordered (ie. hats, shirts, jackets, etc. with the Team
Transplant logo), and other items purchased, such as a dinner the week before
the marathon, post-race party, massages, etc.
