Access capabilities

Scott

I have a project which requires me to choose a sample from
100,000 items to obtain a representative sampling, whereby
there would be a 95% confidence level that the results of
the sampling would represent the population. After which,
I would be required to randomly select the sample from the
100,000 population. This is fairly strait-forward
statistal and quanitiative analysis, but I have no
experience with Access. Is this something that can be
easily accomplished by using data in the Access program?
If so, do you have some good tips to make it as quick and
easy as possible?

Thanks,

scott

Yes, this is something that you can easily do in Access.

To make your life even easier, you may want to consider using Total Access
Statistics.
