Hi,

One of my users has tried to open and MS Access file and
is getting the message that the file is not recognized as
an Access file. I noticed that she actually has three
files with the same name before the dot and that the file
names after the dot are .lbd, .1, and .2. It looks to me
like the file has been split into three parts. Any idea
on how I open this file or is it three files that make up
one larger one?

Thanks ahead of time!

Access has an ldb file, but I can't explain the .1 and .2.

How many versions of Access are on the machine? What version does she have?
What version is the .mdb?

The version of the .ldb file is access.lockfile.9 the
other two files simply say they are versions .1 file
and .2 files respectively. Does that shed any light at
all? The file size is 935 kb.

Thanks!
