Access Caller I.D. program using MSComm

Ok, I program both in VB6 and Access. I used MSComm to create a caller i.d.
program in Access, but I am now being told that when iI try to distribute the
access program to people that do not have VB6 installed they will get an
error. Any way to work around this, or are there other ways of doing this
without MSComm?
Any help would be appreciated
