Hi,
I need to generate a printed document that will contain data from
Microsoft Access. My customer already generates this document manually
using Microsoft Word and he really likes the format, so it seems like the
way to go is to populate his word document with Access data rather than to
attempt to mimic his document using MS Access reports.
I want my user to press a button in the MS Access program and have
it automatically generate an MS Word .doc file or possibly open an MS Word
template file (.dot file) and populate it with data from the database and
save it as a doc file.
Does anyone know any good resources that explain how to do this?
Thanks,
JD
