Yes, Office 97 will run on XP. If you ever decide to install 2k or XP
versions of Office, or the individual programs, completely uninstall 97
before you do. (that means uninstall it and delete the Microsoft Office
directory in Program Files). You could go a step further and delete the
Application Data for Microsoft Office located under each profile, but that
shouldn't be necessary.
