Access 97 will not run

I just purchased a new laptop and loaded Access 97 on it. 97 will not run. I
believe I saw some article that indicated that Access 97 will not run on
Windows XP unless you have a certain amount of memory. Can anyone confirm
this and direct me to some documentation that indicates this problem?

Access 97 runs fine on Windows XP.

The original release of A97 had a problem if your computer had 1GB of RAM:

But surely no-one would be running an unpatched version.

When you say it "will not run", what happens when you try? If you get an
error message, what's the message?

In addition to the possibility Allen mentioned, a common error is "There Is
No License". If that's what you're seeing, check
