Why do you need both? In any case I think you should have installed 97
first.......

For the most part, it doesn't really matter what order you install them in.

Interestingly this KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q218861/ says
you should install the earliest version first......

I'm aware of that recommendation, but as a test, some of the MVPs have
deliberately installed in a different order with no ill effects. This is
especially true of Access 97 and newer versions, since they have virtually
no files in common.

Thanks for the amendment........

Hi Gordon, Douglas, Gordon and Douglas

I've tries both ways round at least twice

Still get 'not sufficient memory' which, in the circumstances seems daft!

So, any other suggestions folks!

Ok - I'll have go at installing 3.51 but it may well be next week now - of
for a cycle ride in fRANCE FOR A FEW DAYS EARLT ON TOMORROW oops sorry about
thecaps - however, until very recently it was bounding along quite happily
on 125 mb of Ram
Thanks for you efforts anyway. I'll let you know if it works

Jim
