Re: Form command buttons for Access 97. Our database includes 1,025 records. For record search purposes, on the form page I want to create two different command buttons in the form header that will allow the user to search for specific records by either last name or by a unique 9 digit identifying number. I have successfully created two queries that pertain to the search criteria. Then, I created macros for the queries, then two command buttons on the form that activate the macros. However, searching this way only opens the found record in table view.

How do I create command buttons on the form that will search for specific records and then open the found record in form view, and not table view?

I know this should be a simple task, but I have yet to uncover the secret to make this happen. Suggestions?
