Access 97 form not properly refreshing

I have a form that was creating using Access 97. The user can
successfully input the data, but it doesn't reflect on the screen that
it was inputted, but a query of the table will show the new data
exists.

What happens, specifally, when it "doesn't reflect on the screen"?

There's a chance that the form has its "Data Entry" property set, which
would ONLY allow data entry, not display of existing records.

Data Entry peoperty would mean that the form opens blank. It may be that you
just need a button to requery the subform The syntax would be something
like:

Me.NameOfSubformControm.Form.NameOfTextBoxForPart
