Access/Office 97 will run just fine on Windows XP.
Occasionally, after installing Office 97 on Windows XP or Windows 2000, a
user
may receive the following message: "Microsoft Access can't start because
there is no license for it on this machine." This problem is due to a
misbehaving font. The fix for that problem, should it occur, is found at:
Yes, I've been happily running A97 with Win XP. However occasionally
Windows XP theming conflicts with a few things. Or rather at least
one thing in A2000.
