Access 97 back-end

Is there any good reason(any speed improvements) to having
the back-end in Access 97 whilst the front-end is in
Access 2002?

Nope. If anything, it's worst. Go all access 2000 if you
can.

Users with Access 97 only will still be able to use their old FE; if you
change the back end format then they wont.
