Access 2007 tables problem

I was creating a new table on the fly, adding new fields as I needed them,
saving it as needed, then noticed the Add New Field column at the right is
now gone. All I have done is add fields and add data. Other tables still
show the Add New Field column.
Why has it changed and how can I change it back?

I know I can do that but I like the feature where I can see the data and add
the fields and change the field names in datasheet view.

There are only eleven fields so far. Other tables with over twenty fields
still show the Add New Field column.

Just a thought:
Remember, the number one rule, try it on a copy of your database first.

This is untested because I don't have Access 2k7 on this machine but:

If your table does not have any relationships, try right click on the table,
copy and save as your table name with a 1 on the end.

Does it now show the Add New Field Column?

If it does, re-name your original table as Table name with2 on the end and
re-name the new one without the 1.

It might be more of a problem if you have relationships on the original table.

Personally, I always prefer to use design view but hopefully this may work
for you???????

Access 2007 is quite buggy so make sure you have the latest service pack installed.
