Access 2007 Report Issue

Eric Heinold

I have a database that has approximately 70 reports. It is an Access 2000
database. In testing for Access 2007, some of the report will view, but
when they are printed, they will cause Access 2007 to crash (the window just
disappears). There does not seem to be any reason for this. The reports
run and print fine in Access 2000 and Access 2003. It is only about 4 or 5
reports that have a problem, and it is the same reports every time. I have
looked to see if this was a known problem in Access 2007, and I did not see
anything anywhere. Has anyone heard of this? I can try to provide more
detail, if requested, but I am pretty much at a loss.

Thanks,

Eric Heinold

Eric, have you applied Service Pack 1 for Office 2007 yet?

There were some report crashes that were addressed in this SP. I had some
reports that crashed consistently (code in Report_Open that assigned
RecordSource/ControlSource), but SP1 fixed that.

I don't think there are hotfixes addressing this, but there's a summary of
the hotfixes I am aware of at the top of this article:

Allen,

That was the problem. The worst part is that I had SP1 installed on the
test computer now, but I hadn't tested it. The problem had been occurring,
but I hadn't looked at it for a while.

Thanks.
