Access 2007 Path cannot be used as a Trusted Location.

When I try to setup a network drive and folder as a Trusted Location,
I get this error message: "The path you have entered cannot be used as
a Trusted Location for security reasons." Why can't I choose for
myself what paths I want to trust?

I notice a checkbox for allowing network drives. Checking it doesn't
seem to do anything. Perhaps this is a bug in Access 2007. I can't
figure out any way to get around it. It will not let me set my
network drive as a trusted location; either the drive or any folder on
the drive. It doesn't seem to be a security issue per se... I have
read/write rights to that drive. Would any of you MVP's like to
comment?
