Access 2007 Help with Primary Keys

Hi Gang,

My Access 2007 is doing something very wierd. When I am entering my
information into various columns, my primary number automatically changes. In
other words, I enter my first row of data(autonumber assigns me #1) and as I
enter information into each file column, my primary number goes up one
automatically. As a result, my very first entry may will have the number 9
instead of one.

Why is Access doing this? Any help will be appreciated?

Have you applied service pack 1 for Office 2007?

There was a strange problem like the one you describe, but I'm struggling to
recall the details. Does this table have multi-valued fields? Or does it
occur when you add new fields to the table on the fly (right-most column
while entering data)?
