Access 2007 database engine error and

I am getting this error when I try to compact and repair the database:

"The Microsoft Office Access database engine could not find the object
'MsysComplexColumns'. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its
name and path correctly.

What the heck! I have no idea what that even means! So, needless to say,
I'm very confused and have no idea where to start in looking for this complex
column.

The other thing I was curious about is when I create a backup of my
database, shouldn't the backup be the same size of file as the original? If
it is...then I have another issue there too!

MSysComplexColumns is a hidden system table that Access 2007 uses to manage
your Multi-Valued Fields (MVF) and Attachment fields. The error message
indicates that your database has some kind of corruption in the way Access
is linking the super-hidden tables behind the MVFs.

You might try creating a new blank ACCDB database. Then importing everything
from your old one by clicking the External Data tab on the ribbon, and then
the Access icon in the Import chunk.

If that doesn't work, you may need to identify which tables contain MVFs.
Delete the MVFs from those tables, and try the Compact again.

If you have any MVFs in your ACCDB, you should be able to see the table by
clicking:
Office Button | Access Options | Current Database | Navigation Options
and then check the boxes for Show Hidden Object ans Show System Objects.
