What is the maximum number of records that Access 2007 can handle?

My friend wishes to set up a disco database containing all his tracks
- and he has over 24000, needing 11 fields per record.

That is tiny. Tell him not to worry.

FYI the limits are only on total file size (2GB), not number of records.

I once stuffed 133 million, yes million, records in an Access database. I
just wanted to see how many was possible and the data was useless.

I have some Access databases with over a million records.
