Access 2003

I've recently converted 97 DB's to 2003. I've noticed that now in 03
environment, if I already have a databse running, I am unable to open another
database to work with. Does anyone understand how to allow working with
multiple DB's at once?

Open two instances of Access and open one database in each.

That is not a function of the conversion to A03 from A97. I currently have
4 A03 MDBs open on my system.

after I posted this, I was able to work around the problem by opening the
Access program, File Open, then selecting the DB.
For what ever reason, it does not allow me to open another instance if open
from where the DB is stored on our server.
Not sure that makes sense, but I can now open multiple instances using the
above-mentioned method.
Thanks-

Just a guess but try changing the Application Title to something
meaningful. Tools >> Startup
