Access 2003 SP3 dropping preceding zeros on formatted number field

I have a form that contains a combo box for project numbers. The project
number field is a number data type. It is a 5 digit number. Since some of
the project numbers begin with a zero the format is set to "00000". I have
one user that is using Service Pack 3 of Access 2003. Her workstation does
not display the preceding zero in the drop down list. All of the other
computers display the project numbers appropriately. How do I update the SP3
computer so it will display the preceding zero?

Be sure that you try this fix first on a backup machine.
