Access 2003 Northwind Fautling error all Databases

Hi,
WinXP SP2, Access 2003-Office2003 sp1
Access generates a program "Fault" when I open Northwind,
or any existing database, almost immediately. I have tried
repairing my installation. Any ideas? Troubleshooting steps?

I realize this is probably a conflict with another program,
but where to begin, there are a number of possibilities.
I don't use Norton, or any Anti-Virus. Thanks in Advance.
