I have created a small database - very simple - and view it presently in
datasheet view. I would to be able to:

1 - view it in a laid out form style
2 - create a report of the data

How do I do both of these

Hi
1 - view it in a laid out form style

Open the form in design view
Open the form's properties box
Select format colum
Select default View
Change the view to one of the options
Save
2 - create a report of the data
Use the New Object wizard to create your form
(The wizard is on the main page of the Database - with no forms open)
If you don't have the wizard
Select Toolbars and then Database this will open this toolbar

You will need to play around with the report layout until you are happy with
it. Press F1 for help on report layouts

Hope this helps

Are you meaning "Properties" when you right click on the table? I don't see
"seelct format column".

I wonder if the reason I can't see the options you mention is because I have
a table view not a form.

*LINKED* not liked! I'm going to have to check the caffeine content of this
new coffee....
