Access 2003 and subforms

Hi,
In Access 2000 it was not possible to have a form with more than one subform
at the same level, only nested subforms.
Is it still the same in Access 2003?

Thanks
Christo

I am not aware that a2000 had any limitation in this regards. You can, and
will often have a sub-form 1 level below a master record.

You might have a customer record, and one sub-form might be a list of
invoices. Another sub-form might be a list of phone calls. There is no
reason why this would not work.

Take a look at the following screen shots, --- especially the very last one,
and you will see a "classic" form that splits out cheque funds into
particular accounts...

Your statement is incorrect. Every version of Access, at least since 2.0,
has allowed multiple same-level subforms, with no practical limit. All have
had a limit on the number of nesting levels.

Yes, it is still the same... there is no practical limit on the number of
subforms at a given level, only on the number of nesting levels.

I have a table clients with a one-to-many relationship to let say adresses
and a one-to many relationship with a table ContactPersons, so I can display
clients as the main/master form with two detail/subforms, one displaying the
list of adresses and the other displaying the contact persons?

Yes, the above is correct. I have some forms with 4, perhaps even more
sub-forms that describe your above case....

When you have *lots* of sub-forms, we often place them behind tabs. You can
see a screen shot of that here:

In the above, I count about 5 sub-forms. You can only see two in the above
screen shot, but the "payments" tab has another sub-form, and so does the
udrive...
