Hello,
We currently run a small database with Access 97 as the
front end and SQL 7.0 as the backend. Will there be any
compatibility issues is we upgraded to Access 2003 and
kept our backend as SQL 7.0?

thank you

There shouldn't be any issues, but be sure that your MDAC components are up to date. That said, I would suggest that you investigate using an Access Project (available with Access 2000 and forward) rather than linking from Access 97 to SQL Server.
