Access 2002 / Word 2000 Mail Merge

I created a database for a client. It is pretty basic in that there are no
macros, only tables, relationships, queries, reports, forms. Everything was
wonderful, and I was able to get mail merge to work easily.

They had a guy come in an replace all of their PC's. The prior was WinMe and
now it is XP Pro. I am getting the following error each time I try to open
the Access DB within word Mail Merge:

WORD COULD NOT RE-ESTABLISH A DDE CONNECTION TO MS. ACCESS TO COMPLETE THE
CURRENT TASK.

I am clueless. Any help would be appreciated.

Hum, it could be a lot of things....

I would try my sample ready to go merge...and see if it works.

If my sample word merge works..then you can readup on the notes on my web
site as to how to make your merge more reliable...
