In Access 2002 is there a way to create a switchboard that
accesses other db switchboards outside the current
database?

Not sure exactly what you need to achieve.

You could attach the Switchboard table from other databases, with File | Get
External | Link. However, that's not going to be much good unless you also
have the tables/queries/forms etc that are used by the other switchboard.

I'm trying to connect/navigate multiple db's by way of
their individual switchboard menus. I would agree the
File / Link method wouldn't work here. Any other
suggestions. Combining them into one is not an option
they are all quite large and complex. Thanks.

If you are attempting to create one master-database that launches other
databases, and returns to the master one, try michka's TSOON utility
(Trigeminal Shut-One, Open-Next) from:
www.trigeminal.com
