Access 2002 - one to many query query problem

I have two tables in a query - a people table and a jobs table. Any one
person may have had several jobs. One of the fields in the jobs table is
"date to job". How can I select, for each person, the first job each one had?
Most grateful for any help you can give.

The construct depends on what other related Fields you want to return by the
