Access 2002 activation issue

All of a sudden MS says I can't get web updates for Access. MS says product
not activated. When I try to activate it (again!), Access says already
activated. There must be a file in the registry to delete or modify to
re-activate Access. This is a fully licensed edition, running on XP. Had a
memory glitch today, MS gave me an error message and said I needed to update
Office (or buy new edition). I also uninstalled Access and reinstalled it, no
difference, still same error message and Access still said It was already
registered. I'll try and search the registry, but I don't want to do anything
drastic.

Thank to anyone who has an idea.

I found this buried in MS trouble shooting, it worked. They probably think
this was easy to find, NOT!! This was for Office XP. There was pretty much
the same solution for Office 2000 just a different file name. Who would've
thought it would be outside the registry. Thanks to everyone who where
looking and thinking of possible solutions.

1. Click Start, click Run, type C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data, and then click OK.
2. Right-click the Data.dat file, and then click Delete.

Important Do not delete the data.bak file.
3. Close the folder.
4. Start an Office XP program to start the Office XP Activation Wizard.
