Is it possible to open microsoft Access 2003 databases with Microsoft Access
2000 and edit the database if needed?

It depends. By default, Access 2003 uses the Access 2000 file format, so if
it's still in that format, you can. However, Access 2003 can also store the
MDB file in an Access 2002/2003 file format, and if that's been done, then
you can't.

So... you might copy your file to a computer that runs Access 2003, load
it into Access 2003, and then save it as an Access 2000 database file.
You can then take the converted file back to your own computer to play
with it there, using Access 2000.
