Access 2000 vs access 2002

All the files, (front-end and back-end) were created using Access 2000.
Everything works fine. Is there any advantage by changing the files to 2002?
Example: Access time will decrease, faster response? Network still uses
windows NT 4.0 (I know, I know... but my IT guy and Admin have the mentality
that "if ain't broken don't fix it")

1. Access2002 fixed some bugs in Access2000, I suppose (I do not know what
they were, just, well, suppose), and may possibly introduced some new bugs.
2. Better compatibility to SQL Server 2000, if you are to use it as SQL
Server2000's front end. (Access2000 was released before SQL Server2000).

But, if not broken, and no new features are required, why change it?

I'd agree with Norman. Newer versions of Access won't be any faster.
And A2000 through A2003 use Jet 4.0 so so long as you're up to date on
the Jet patches that won't make any difference in corruptions.

Now the next version of Access has lots of improvements to make life
easier for the power user and for the developer. But that's a ways
off. And won't run on NT 4.0.
