Access 2000 mdb reading in Access 2002

Hi,

We have a working mdb file in access 2000. When we tried to open this file
in Access 2002 (Office XP), it just hangs for a long time and at the end
prompts a message "can't find the file xxx.mdb where xxx is the path followed
by the access 2000 mdb filename"

Any suggestions please?

How are you trying to open? via a shortcut on the desktop, via explorer, are
you opening access then finding the file via open database?

Do you have access to the location where the db is located?
