Access 2000 - "Invalid Arguement" - I am desperate!

"Invalid Arguement" This message keeps coming up whenever
I try to save a query, make a table or append a table. I
have downloaded and installed the appropriate service
pack but still have the problem. I cannot do anything
with Access. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Call
if you have any insights (800)548-7247 and ask for David
Zimmerman

It would help if you would post the SQL for your query here. Otherwise
there is no way to know what might be going on.

This could be a sign of corruption; see Tony Toews' page on symptoms of
corrupt MDBs:

http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbsymptoms.htm

You say you've installed the appropriate service pack. Do you mean
SR1/1a, as mentioned in KB article 320495?

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=302495
ACC2000: "Invalid Argument" When You Import, Copy, or Append Data to
a Table

If your database is corrupt, Tony's main page on corruption includes
pointers on how to recover it:
