Access 2000 DB Corruption

How can I fix the issue of my Access 2000 DB becoming
corrupt? My users get an error message saying "The
database needs to be repaired or isn't a database file"

How can I fix or prevent this?

Have you tried the Too -> Database Utilies -> Repair Database and/or Compact Database options yet? Repair first, then compact,if you so desire to try
