We are all using the same configuration - that is to say we all use Canadian
French settings that allow accented characters to be entered directly through
a TBIT5 keyboard.
Logging on to the machine with a different user profile produces the same
problem
All our workstations are using Western European (ISO) - tomorrow, we'll
verify that the one workstation with the problem is set that way as well (I
suspect it is) - the user is away today
We discovered that the default font used for message (ARIAL) was corrupted,
we replaced the corrupted ARIAL.TTF with one from a good machine and the
problem went away.
We suspect the font was corrupted by another software installation but we
cannot say for sure.
Thanks for your help in this matter.
