I know this is a forum about Windows Xp Os but I was looking at the WM forum
and it seems that nobody takes care of that, so anyways if somebody please,
when using WMP10 to play cd's the sound comes choppy and songs tend to skipp,
I have tried enabling and disabling EC, same with Digital playback and other
little things, anybody ???

Thanks!!

first thing to try is set cd playback to analog, see if the cd plays ok.
This setting routes the cd audio "sound" thru a cable from the cd drive
to the sound card, and the sound card plays the audio - WMP is really not
"in the loop" at all. If you get skips here then the disk is actually
skipping - try another disk. If all disks skip, try using a cd lens
cleaner disk. If all your cd's skip then I'd suspect a drive problem.
