? about WinXP Home power settings

Hi!

How do I set the WinXP Home's power settings so that when my Compaq Presario
V3000 laptop's on battery the screen doesn't dim? Some may have a use for it
being that way, I don't. I am aware that the screen not dimming will drain
the battery faster

Hi,

The dimmer display is for battery conservation, and it can add up to a lot.
With that in mind, there are a number of V3000's in the series, but this

Check the documentation for your specific laptop.
